- Our theme for Sun is "crawl
before you can walk". Many of us assume that because we do certain right or
good things we are "Christian." The journey of following Jesus Christ and
serving God is not over at any moment in our life. We are always growing "into"
rather than arriving "at." DON'T FORGET TO TURN YOU CLOCK AHEAD 1 HOUR SAT
NIGHT
- The memorial service for Martha Harner, long time member of Fairlawn West and
mother of Linda Seibert is tomorrow, Sat, March 10th, 11 am at Billow on Miller
Rd.
- We left off by mistake from the mailed newsletter "The Caller" the name of
Bonna Thompson who is recuperating from surgery at The Arbors on
Cleveland-Massillon Road at I-77.
- David Loar will be available on Friday afternoons 1-4 pm at The Nervous Dog
coffee bar, 1530 West Market Street. HOWEVER, he will not be there for the next
3 Fridays! (next week he is coaching a group of Presbyterian ministers in
Cleveland who are trying to get some handle on pastoral leadership in these
topsy-turvy times; and the next two Fridays he will be making college visits
with his daughter.) So for the next 2 weeks he will be there on Thursdays and
the following week we'll just skip it.
- Get ready for St. Patrick's Day, Sat, March 17th. Learn about how St. Patrick
and
the evangelization of the Celts was different from the Roman style of
evangelizing and how that model is very helpful for us today.
- One
Great Hour of Sharing offering on Sunday, March 18th.
