Our theme for Sunday is Abundant Living on Nothing a Day.

Isaiah 55

In a world focused on possession, materialism, and consumerism is

there anything more we need for life?  God defines "abundancy" in

a whole different manner than the world does.  Lower sufficiency in the world can lead to living abundantly in God's realm

This weekend David Loar's sister, Ann Loar Brooks, who is from Baltimore, is interviewing some of the leaders of Fairlawn West about our journey of transformation over the past decade.  Ann has been the author of a couple of books about church issues and may decide to write a book about F W after reviewing the material she develops this week.  Earlier this week David Loar, John Gossett and Mary Mounts met with a Presbyterian and a UCC minister from Cleveland to share with them our story.  In March David Loar spent 6 hours being hosted by the Presbyterian Churches in the Cleveland area at a coffee shop in Euclid to share about our journey and to help them consider their own journey of transformation.  Around 10 churches and 25 people were present over the whole time.  We are being asked more and more to help others from our experience.  If this book develops, it could function in the same vein.  We still are clearly on a journey of learning and growing as the body of Christ, but others are seeking assistance from the road we have been on for the past years.
