Our theme
for Sunday is Pushing the Envelope
Acts 11:1-18
Peter has a vision which challenges all the
basic assumptions he has had about the practice
of his religious life. He is to associate with
people that in the past he understood would
religiously be unacceptable. But there is a
major reason...he is being sent by God on a
mission to share the love of Jesus Christ with
the world around him. If he prior self selects
who he will associate with, he won't be going to
the world that God has sent him too. What about
us?

From Bruce
Beckle - I will once again be “sleeping
in the street” to raise money for
BACM’s (Barberton Area Community Ministries)
homeless fund. This is monies that are used by
the organization to help people in need of
temporary housing or help them keep their
current place. I am looking for pledges from
folks here at Fairlawn West. Last year I raised
$1,800 and this year my goal is $2,000. I
appreciated your support last year and thank you
in advance for your support this year.
