Fairlawn West Partners in Ministry (aka "members and friends"),

We are in the month long preparation for one of the major events each year at Fairlawn West - the annual Spaghetti Supper fund raiser for the Williard Food Pantry (Friday, Nov 9th) and the quilt raffle by the Sew 'N Sell group. 

Jack Michael and I will be attending the Origins Conference in Charlotte, NC Oct 16 & 17 which will be led by Erwin McManus. 

We just had our Christmas Eve planning meeting with folks from New Covenant Community Church, for a joint service on Christmas Eve.  Yep, we are already started on that!

The Interfaith Hospitality Network annual meeting will be Monday, November 5th at Firestone Park United Methodist Church.  As the new president I will be leading the meeting and hope we have a good group there representing Fairlawn West.

Its here again...that wonderful season of....the spaghetti supper.  This is the largest source of funds for the Willilard Food Pantry from any of its funding sources.  This year it will be on Friday, November 9th with seatings starting at 5:30 pm.  Dick Pasher is leading it for ONE more year...this year.  So when he asks you to help...or you could offer on your own...please hear the voice of God calling you through Dick's voice!!!  You can use the Connection Card on Sundays or contact our office if you are willing to help.  We are also looking for major donors of $25 or more.  AND then, for all of you to buy tickets for the supper.  It really is a fun(d) time.

Also, the Sew 'N Sell Group is raffling off their quilt with a drawing right after the supper.  You can buy your tickets also on Sundays or call the office.
