Fairlawn West Partners,

The Spaghetti Supper is gaining steam for Friday, November 9th.

Jack Michael and I are at the Origins Conference in Charlotte, NC today through Thursday which will be led by Erwin McManus.

We remember June Schieb who died on Sunday.  Her graveside service is Tuesday.  June has been in nursing care for over 40 years.  Two of our Partners, Bonna Thompson and Mary Mounts are recuperating from surgeries.

The youth have begun gathering on Sundays at 11:00 am at the Nervous Dog coffee shop.

Want to serve those in need?: Lunch on Us at Miller Ave UCC, Oct 20 & 27; Williard Food Pantry, Oct 16, 20, and 23; Interfaith Hospitality Network host week Oct 21-28; Salvation Army Christmas kettle bell ringers Nov 9-Dec 24 (contact daryl.mangeri@use.salvationarmy.org).

This week the Monday and Thursday Bible reflection groups are canceled.

My prayer this week while I am in Charlotte is for my (and your) deepening faith as Christ's spirit grows in us!

Spaghetti Supper for the Food Pantry
Its here again...that wonderful season of....the spaghetti supper.  This is the largest source of funds for the Willilard Food Pantry from any of its funding sources.  This year it will be on Friday, November 9th with seatings starting at 5:30 pm.  Dick Pasher is leading it for ONE more year...this year.  So when he asks you to help...or you could offer on your own...please hear the voice of God calling you through Dick's voice!!!  You can use the Connection Card on Sundays or contact our office if you are willing to help.  We are also looking for major donors of $25 or more.  AND then, for all of you to buy tickets for the supper.  It really is a fun(d) time.
