Small groups are at the heart of our life as a church with the essentials of community, nurture, study, growing spiritually, becoming a disciple, going out into the world in service/mission, fellowship and mutual caring.  We encourage everyone who is part of Fairlawn West in some fashion to become part of a small group on a regular basis.

If you would like to know more about small groups and/or the groups that are presently available, please contact our small group coordinator - smallgroups@fairlawnwest.org.  Cards with details on each present group are also available in our two main lobbies in the display racks.

To be a small group leader we request that you have participated in the duration of the life of one small group and to have been part of our Group Leaders group for a few months before you start.  We also request that you "apprentice" as an assistant leader of a group before you lead a group.  We strongly encourage new groups to be started as an intentional spin-off of an already established group. Before a new group is announced and gets started, the new leaders are asked to meet with the staff person for small groups who is presently our pastor, David Loar.  The group leaders meet monthly on the first Sat of the month at 11:30 am.
