The labyrinth is an ancient ritual walk to the sites in the Holy Land to meet Jesus.  One walks the intricate path to the center with an open spirit to receive gifts of serenity, peace, forgiveness, release of grief and/or a simple of truth from God.  There is no set creed or words to use. The walk itself inspires silence as the joy of your soul.

Before the Crusades and before many people could read, whole villages made pilgrimages to learn of Jesus and the holy sites.  As the roads became too dangerous during the Crusade wars of the 12th Century, the Pope appointed pilgrimage cathedrals.  The ritual walk to meet Jesus was established in labyrinths in the floors of the cathedrals.

This is our Chartres style of labyrinth.  The distinctive feature of our canvas labyrinth is that the toddler daughter of the woman who was leading our painting of it stepped in some paint and walked on it.  We decided to leave those footprints on the canvas as a signature.

Here is the schedule when the labyrinth is available in our building.
