Preschool

The Fairlawn-West Preschool is for children age 2 to 5/Pre-kindergarten.

There are two day a week classes for age 2.
Three and five day a week classes for age 3. Five day a week classes for ages 4 and 5.

Our school has been serving the community for over 50 years. The mission is to provide an environment for children to grow in having healthy relationships, to be kindergarten ready, to further develop motor skills, to be creative and expressive, and to be aware of the wider world around them. In addition to the regular preschool time we also have weekly classes for art, music, creative expression and dance..We have a well equipped and safe outdoor playground and large indoor playroom. Our classrooms are large and full of a variety of resources for the children to play and learn.

The preschools classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Scholarships are available.

Extended care is provided each day for families who need care for their child beyond the class time. It begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. This is paid on an hourly basis. During this time children play, snack, rest, and will use computers.

We have recently made staff changes to be better able to reflect our core values and fulfill our stated mission.
