Recovery

Alcoholics Anonymous or AA, the original 12 Step Recovery program, started here in Akron. The first meeting between the two founders, Bill W and Dr. Bob was at the Gate Lodge at the Stan Hywet mansion which is less than two miles from the Fairlawn-West UCC building.

In our building we host four AA, one Emotions Anonymous, and two Sexaholics Anonymous meetings a week and once  month a couples recovery meeting for Sexaholics Anonymous.
