A Community of Caring
How can you join Fairlawn-West to help
others in our community?
GapPacks
GapPacks for Resnik CLC
Our members collect nonperishable foods and pack them into backpacks for food insecure children at Judith A. Resnik Community Learning Center, our next door neighbor. We always can use donations of items such as single-serve fruit cups, soup and peanut butter. We also need help with packing and distribution.
Habitat for
Humanity
Habitat for Humanity
We support our local Summit County chapter of this international ministry and help make homeownership a reality for families. Twice a year we take part in build days in which the congregation gathers at a job site to work on a new home.
Faithful
Feeders
Faithful Feeders
Members assist in providing food for various church events, special services and occasional meals for the housebound or convalescent.
Family
Promise
Family Promise
Our church supports parents and children involved in this program that keeps families intact even as they deal with instability. We collect items monthly such as towels or kitchen goods and also provide meals.
Bags of Love
Bags of Love
Every year, we contribute nearly 200 bags filled with essentials that public benefits can't cover, like soap and toorhpaste, for clients of Barberton Area Community Ministries
